Comments: flat and fast course What would you do differently?: learn to push then get into rhythm. exit closer to gate, i.e. aim left from turn point not straight back. Transition 1
Comments: forgot race belt What would you do differently?: helmet. race belt. get to speed then get shows on. Bike
What would you do differently?: Bike water still frozen, unable to drink till after 20mins. uncomfortable on aero bars. HR dropped from 160 during last 8 mins. could push harder, make an extra 2 mins. Transition 2
Comments: hat on, zip shoes up and off. What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: held back first km to target 5min/km, after 2.5km gradually built the pace. What would you do differently?: steady first km. target is to beat 4.48min/km so let first 2 km be at this level. no faster. start slow and build. Post race
