Go to the Columbia Tri site and check it out.

7:13 for me and then I have to wade through the men 55+, women 45+ and the 50-54 men. That's assuming I don't get killed on the swim and end up two or three waves back.

7:37 for me. I don't know how I feel about this. I was hoping to be closer to the first few waves, I guess I'll just have churn through previous waves Shooting for a 27 minutes swim.

I wish they would post bib numbers.

Just don't knock me out when you come flying over me in the swim ......

(Although with a 24 minute lead I think I might be able to get out of the water before you can catch me .... barely).

I'm 7:13 as well. I was going to be a Clydesdale, but the 8:13 start REALLY put me off. I had visions of my bike beong the only one left in transition, as I'm thinking I'll be near the swim cut off. I'll take my chances with the age group instead. Here's hoping for the best!

You guys can stop all complaining about your swim wave start times.  I've got 8:08.  So it is possible I could be out there until like 4 PM or so.  I will still be racing during the award ceremony, and because the Athenas are in my wave, people are probably going to think I'm an Athena even though my weight is very close to 150.   I'm a pretty fast swimmer, but I know some like 230 lb Clydesdale will try to swim over me.

There seems to be two threads going with this topic...I think the other one is in the "Maryland" section.

I am a Clyde so it will be nice to not have people swimming all over me, but I am a little concerned about being on the course as the day gets warmer.

However, looking at the extended forcast on accuweather, it now has 75' and sunny for the 11th. Not bad at all.

Happy tapering and safe travels.

I'll be very happy if it stays that way. Now let's just get rid of the supposed super wind and it'll be all good.
