Comments: Not a bad run but I paced it all wrong. Went out way too fast (6:28) so as to not get bottled up, then just tried to hang on to the end. Lost the race mentally in my head around mile 3-4. There was no one around me and I didn't push myself as much as I could have. What would you do differently?: Pace better and work towards a negative split; be tougher mentally!  Post race
Warm down: Walked around, got some water, bagel w/ honey and banana. Waited for wifey to come in and just relaxed. What limited your ability to perform faster: It was a bit warm (80) and humid, but I don't think that really hindered me. Just wasn't tough mentally today. Event comments: Not a bad local 5/10k. Nothing really, no breakfast or anything. Just went to the race, parked and got ready to run.
Just a few stretches, knee lifts and heel kicks to get the blood flowing
