Comments: I may have not taken in enough hydration and/or nutrition for me. Carried my own IronmanPerform in preps for Boise and had a gel near the halfway point. I'm thinking that perhaps I should have had a second gel around mile 9. My gut started going crazy and I got nervous to drink or eat too much. Anyhoot, I PR'd!!! Never run under a 2:30. And while that is unofficial b/c I stopped for the bathroom in the beginning, I will take it :) What would you do differently?: Actually plan/train. This was kind of a last minute decision and I figured w/ Boise coming I could go on ahead and do it as a max before taper. As well, riding yesterday was what I wanted going into this, but my knee was really hurting. Post race

Ate breakfast and gathered everything together. Left house at 5:30
Small race, walked right up to get packet. headed back to car and prepped. No warm-up really.
