  • 1640 yards
  • 01m 17s / 100 yards
Comments:

Overall a good swim for me, there were a lot of people that swam in the zig zag formation that got to be a little annoying. And people would always stop at the bouys to go around them. so I swam over them. oh and I only drank a little of the lake, not to bad : )
What would you do differently?:

Work more on my form and open water swimming.
Transition 1
  • 03m 20s
Comments:

I have no idea what I was doing here I must have took a nap or something.
What would you do differently?:

Hurry the hell up.

  • 24.85 miles
  • 20.05 mile/hr
Comments:

Here is were a saw a big improvement in my training, all that computrainer time realy paid off. I was able to keep my pace at what I wanted to do this race at, hills and wind be damned. I was also able to pass people which i did not do the first time I did this race.
What would you do differently?:

Keep doing what im doing it seems to be working.
Transition 2
  • 01m 12s
Comments:

I think this was a good time at least a lot better then T1
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Run
  • 48m 47s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 07m 52s  min/mile
Comments:

It was a great run once I found some bushes to to hide behind and releive myself from a full bladder, this sure made the rest of the run alot better. I left my garmin on and the first mile was about 10' the rest were 7' and some change. If it was not for the rest stop I would have got a PR the 10k maybe next time : )
What would you do differently?:

Maybe not drink so much coffee before the race. and just keep training.
Post race
Warm down:

Just walked around and cheered the other runners coming in.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing I believe I performed at what I was hoping to perform at.

Event comments:

While waiting for my DW to cross the finnish line a gust of wind blew the finnish line structure down and wiped out the time clock and some other stuff they had set up. A bunch of us ran over and lifted the structure up and moved it off the course when we set it down my DW was crossing the finnish line so I did not get her picture that I was hoping to get.
