Pre-race routine:

Nothing special for this one. Was on the fence about doing this race right up until about 6:45 this morning. We had a family obligation later in the day and I was thinking it might be too much. Ended up going at the last minute. A good decision in the end. : )
Event warmup:

Easy, light jog from car to regsitration area and back. Met some people I knew and hung out at the start. Ate a vanilla bean gu they were giving out.

Comments:

Kept a really good pace throughout the entire race. My mantra—"slow and steady". Worked really well.

Nothing. I feel like I ran this distance really smart and really well.

Course: Course is sold as fairly flat, but there are some hills. Nothing too taxing but they are there. Its a beautiful run through some fairly picturesque New England countryside.
