Which race that Ironman offers is the flattest for the distances?

Without looking anything up or having anything but a guess to back it up, I'd say the races in Florida and Texas are going to be the flattest, by far. Probably New Orleans, too.

I've heard that IMAZ is a great "first timer" course...Flat as a pancake and you can pretty much count on perfect conditions that time of year. I'm pretty sure it's the only IM in North America that has been completed in under 8 hours...

Rev3 Cedar Point Ohio was flat as a pancake (Not an Ironman event but Ironman distance and in my opinion, just as good).  I only remember one hill on the bike and you were done with that in less than 1 min.  Run was totally flat.   (they do both 70.3 and 140.6 at the same time)

In US Florida and AZ. AZ has slight hill out and then turn around and go down slight hill back 3x. TX and KY have more hills than AZ and FL but are rolling from what I have heard.

ChesepeakeMan in MD is totally flat other than short bridges that have maybe 5-10' of elevation gain. It is not a WTC brand race. I've done it 2x as an IM distance aquabike.

I did IM Cozumel and besides being an awesome race it is completely flat....u do get alot of wind. I did IM Louisville and I would not say that is flat unless you come from Colorado! :-)...IM Florida is also flat. Good luck and have fun!

For a 70.3, how does Augusta rank in the flatness category?  I know the swim is easy (downstream) and heard the run is flat with only a few hills near the end of the bike.

Muncie 70.3 has a flat bike course; but the run has some rollers.

Savageman.

I'd dare anyone to find a flatter 70.3 than Eagleman.  It's usually hot as blazes and windy, though.

The only IM I've done in Florida, and the steepest hill I remember on either the bike or run was an overpass of about 10 feet of elevation.
