I would be coming from Houston. Yep, this is the first time for this race although this area hosts several tri's (sprints and an Oly). Not much help on places to stay in New Roads as I typically just drive there for races. You may want to try the Louisiana Forum and post there. |

If anyone is interested I am trying to figure out a Friday to ride the course. Mainly I want to ride the bridge and I need a little more hill work as Alligator Bayou is short on hills. |

Veteran 266 Mandeville, la | Subject: RE: River Roux Triathlon : Official Thread Thanks Gary..Im also volunteering at IMFL 2012 the week before so Im hoping being there at the beginning of my taper week will calm my nerves and get me really motivated.. and as well im doing the Gulf Coast Half marathon a month before to see how my running legs can handle a half..this will be my first as well. |
