Is this a good buy at $700?

The Specs are:
- 2010 Cervelo P2SL Durace Components
- Raised front stem
- Rear seat post
- Dual water bottle holder
- Aluminum Frame

$700

That's a pretty lame description.  Is it a complete bike?  What size?  If it doesn't fit, it's a terrible buy.  If it does, it's probably a decent deal.

P2SL at $700 is a sweet deal if it fits you.

Here is the link--

I think it is pretty obvious that if it isn't the right size then it is not a good buy...

Unfortunately not everyone understands this concept.  Looking at the raised stem on the picture tells me that the bike wasn't the correct fit to the original owner.

One thing that screams out at me is the description given... makes me think its either a scam or the bike is stolen.  It's obvious to me that the person selling the bike doesn't know anything about bikes.

It's such a good deal is seems to be too good of a deal, which would make me cautious.

Tread lightly.... good luck.

First bad sign... there is no such thing as a 2010 P2sl. A P1 maybe, but not a p2sl, and the bike in the picture is not a 2010 of either.

move on.

Also the bike is beeing offered in Edmonton, the murder capital of Canada.

Might be a plot to find a new victim?

It's not a 2010 P2SL.  Cervelo wasn't making P2SLs in 2010.  I think they stopped P2SL is 2009 when they dropped the SL and C versions and just went with the P2, all of which were carbon.  So this bike might have been bought in 2010 but if it's a P2...it's at latest a 2008 version.

If it was made in 2010...it's a P1, not a P2.  But I don't think Cervelo was using that color scheme then.  I think it's a 2008 or prior.

And this is why I post on this site. Thanks for all the input! I did find another one, same color scheme...2008. Will investigate more and see what comes out of it. Any other input is always greatly appreciated!

Think that color scheme is from 2007.

not to mention i dont see anything DA on that bike. those cranks, front brake, brake levers are all black. DA doesnt make them in black or that shape. If it was DA it would be worth much more
