Subject: RE: Swim Secrets book - any reviews? To me - this book is great - and I'll explain why. I'm a self-taught swimmer; my schedule makes it next to impossible to get coached. So I'm learning everything via youtube and reading. I started out just under 2 years ago using TI and that has worked out great. I went from being unable to swim 25m to swimming 6K in just under a year. Excellent and I'm really proud of it. I'd recommend the TI training materials (books, DVDs, etc ) to anyone just starting out. But TI never seems to go past that "novice" stage. I felt stuck at a speed and I just wasn't improving. This seems (at least to my simple mind ) to be the next step after TI. The material may not be ground breaking - but it's presented in a manner self-taught swimmers, like myself, can digest and incorporate into their normal routine. |
