Subject: IMLP 2013?
Does anyone know the current status of IMLP 2013?  Current contract ends this year, correct?  Obviously, lots of speculation that New York and Mont Tremblant were put in place to replace IMLP.  Is there any real news out there?  Anyone know when there will be some resolution?

I recently heard they signed another 5 or 7 year contract don't hold me to that could be rumor

I do not know the current contract status, but I would find it hard to believe they would let this race drop from the portfolio.  It is one of the longest running US IM races and it is immensely popular.

I'm registered for Lake Placid this year and recently received the Athlete Guide in my email.  In the guide they list on-site registration for next years race.  I'd assume that this confirms that Lake Placid will continue through another contract period.
