Comments: Awful sighting. After the second buoy i did not turn acutely enough and went off to my left a ways. Finally noticed about 2 min later and had to head back to the pack. This killed my time. What would you do differently?: Wear non tinted goggles. Transition 1
Comments: Just OK. I was tired. Bike

Comments: My calves totally cramped up. This same thing happened at this race 2 years ago. This did not happen 2 weeks ago at the 70.3. Maybe the lack of sleep, as I did this race after a night shift 2 years ago as well. Run
Comments: Started out with a 9+ min/mile average for the first 1/2 mile. After the cramps settled down I picked it up and finished strong. I would like to get under 21 for this, but I can't complain. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of sleep and being 2 weeks removed from my 70.3 without a real plan/taper. But it is a nice venue and close to home, so no complaints. Last updated: 2012-06-01 12:00 AM

Worked from 10pm to 6am. Drove to the race, got marked and set up transition. Ate for crap throughout the night. Drank alot of coffee.
Light jog and 2 min swim.
