Looks like they will have the troll that did the death threat and the only part that sucks about that is the body guard will be gone and I really like his character. As far as love stories how is it Neal is the only one who has told Sloan she is good looking so far? You would think there would be a lot more guys going after her.

I was thinking about that as well, i also really like the bodyguard character but perhaps he sticks around until next season if the Troll is not immediately revealed.

Sloan is not only hot but she has the best one liners and reactions in the show.  If i worked in that office i would have been all over her until she told me i didnt have a chance on earth of ....I wonder if they will find a romantic interest for her and if they do who could it be.

Ya, when she shoved Niel against the wall.... uh... excuse me.

Ya... she is hot for sure... but not just eye candy like the show admits... her character is really good and Olivia plays it so well. Hopefully she will have good roles coming her way in the future.

Neil was with Guitar Hero stoner chick at Will's party last episode. I thought they were a couple, but the show did not specifically say that.

"Ms. Bachmann...Elvis or Johnny Cash?", an excellent way to close the episode.

I agree with a previous post about wanting more at the end of every episode. I haven't felt this way since the first three years of the Sopranos. Wait, that's not correct. I feel that same way after every Sons of Anarchy episode.

I dont mean to be a hater, but I am really disappointed in the show. It reaches and falls short for me. For reference, I am a huge fan of Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Sons of Anarchy, This sort of series is why I have a television. But I find myself trying too hard to like Sorkin's work here. I loved West Wing. I read a really good review from the Onion's AV club that was spot on, imho. http://www.avclub.com/articles/the-greater-fool,83948/

Well it seems like we are up for some more Jim and Maggie drama for next season, something i could live without.

The bodyguard seems like it will stay put for next season which is great as i really liked his character.

Sloan admitting to Don that she has a thing for him will make things interesting for next season.  I have tried picturing who would be the best match for her and Don is all i come up with....Perhaps some one else is introuced to to show next season.  All i know is that Maggie would be out of the door if i were Don.

Overall it was a great first season.  As i mentioned before it has quickly become one of my favorites and i'm looking forward to next season, hopefully this is not one of those HBO shows that is only around for a season.

I too read some reviews that picked it apart. Picked Sorkin and West Wing apart. I have never watched an episode of West Wing so I have no idea what they were talking about.

Sometimes.... I don't care. I don't care if the wheels are clacking or the track is creaking, sometimes I just like to go for a ride. I really love this ride. I almost can't believe I am about to say it, but sometimes I like being inspired. It's refreshing. I realize a TV show with obvious motives and pandering plots should not do that... but sometimes I just like to go for a ride.

I can't wait to do it again.

I never watched TWW either, when it came out I was watching "Alias" instead.  Sorry, Jennifer Garner >> Martin Sheen.

Be that as it may, we've just made our way through Season 1 and are starting Season 2.   We're really liking it so far!    The best part is that I got a Roku when I was home during the summer, so I can watch on my TV instead of having to watch on the iMac.  I know.... first world problems.

I think the thing that I like most in both shows is the dialog.  You've really got to be paying attention.   I love the back-and-forth between Jack and Donna... very similar to Will and Mac in The Newsroom.

Anyway, I will definitely be giving any Sorkin show a chance in the next few years.

I totally get where you're coming from. And I don't disagree usually. For something that's not too deep and just a fun ride, I'm all in, like True Blood. I want to root for this to be something more, and I'm a bit sad that it's not. It's still better than 98% of what's on television. I just know it's as easy for me to find myself congratulating myself for being so smart for liking this, as it is for my uncle to revel in his love of a certain AM radio host.

I'll probably still watch season two.

Ya, there has to be some meat on the bone. There is a lot of dissatisfaction these days with the level of debate, in politics and in media. It is getting completely ridiculous. Now perhaps this has always gone on, perhaps we just see more off it, and with all these media outlets they will naturally make it more "sensational". So NR, or any vehicle, can tap into that and make an interesting show based on those sentiments.

In that respect I love the show. If that is not how a viewer believes, then there will not be much left over... well written personal relationship stuff any show can offer.

For me, sure, easy to take pot shot when nobody is shooting back. I mean the show, which it has done, can take aim on certain topics without any rebuttal. And yes, the GOP is an easy target. A very target rich environment indeed. But the GOP is not the ONLY problem, if if the show continues down that path as it has done, then they will probably loose me.

But for right now, I'm fully on board. Yes it is just a TV show... one of the reviews was actually picking it apart for that... that the show/Sorkin makes it out like everything a silly cable new show does is not as important as he makes it out to be. At least TWW was the Presidency. Yet, there was a reason our founding fathers acknowledged the freedom of press and it wasn't so we would know how many ounces of coke Sheen does in a day with 10 hookers. It is vital to a healthy republic.

"It can be".

So ya... hook, line, and sinker. And for a long time now, anything HBO puts out will always get a chance from me. Best programming of any outlet out there. Hands down. Sopranos, Oz, Big Love, Rome, Entourage, TB, The Wire. I'll say Sex in the City... never watched it, but it was huge for chicks.... and then Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Generation Kill, mini series... don't even get me started on their documentaries... such good programing.
