Scenic 17 Triathlon : Official Thread

I raced in 2011 and 2010 and will race again this year.  The swim is in Crooked Lake and is usually a triangle swim, out to the buoy on the left, right turn to a second buoy and back to the beach.  Run to transition is a through sand on the beach, up a little hill to a sidewalk and then through grass to the transition area.  Most of it is at a slight incline.  Not too bad.  Unless it is a very windy day, there is very little current in the lake.   My husband and I went out there yesterday and rode the bike and ran the run course so if you want any information on those areas, let me know.
