Subject: American Classic 58mm carbon tubulars Okay folks...I bought myself a very nice set of race wheels this winter. I got them "used" with about 200 miles on them and I did one duathlon for another ~24 miles back in April so these wheels are virtually new and they certainly look fantastic. AC uses Zipp rims (non-dimpled) and their own hubs. The package is the same weight as a set of 404s and nearly as aero (again, less the dimples). I bought a brand new Dura Ace cassette ($125), AC titanium skewers ($45), and another new Tufo S3 Lite 215g tire ($75) for a spare. The wheels are currently mounted with virtually new (200 miles) Tufo S3 Lites. I've got $1150 into the package and I'll sell it all for $950. Why am I selling the wheels? Well, I found a deal I can't refuse on a new race bike and it comes with a Zero disc and 50mm carbon front tubular. I'll be using my Specialized for training and road rides so I don't need this extra set of wheels anymore. I personally think they are about the best value out there if you are looking for top of the line carbon aero wheels. You're basically getting Zipp 404s at 70% the cost.
