For those who have some this tri, what can I expect from the run and the bike? Are either very hilly? I got surprised by the hills in Prince George and would like to focus more on the hills if it's hilly.
Bike is okay, run is a trail run with lots of up and down hills. No huge hills just lots of them. 2 laps for Oly, 1 for sprint. I would do some hill training.
I agree with above. I've done it a few times and their are always people there that don't expect the trail run. Almost the whole run is unpaved and in trails. Lots of up and downs on dirt or gravel.
It is an enjoyable tri though especially when the weather cooperates.
