Swim
What would you do differently?: I felt terrible in this swim. I could not relax and settle in. I started swim classes this week and would have not pushed it so much the week before a race. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: Bad T1. I put my helmet on before my shirt..and had to reset :( I just took too long to get it done. Bike
Comments: I felt pretty good on the bike. There was a decent headwind going out, but nothing terrible. Coming back I was hitting 20+ MPH consistantly Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Not a bad transition. Had socks and running shoes on and was out fast. Run
Comments: Felt great. The initial climb out of the transition was rough, but once I was out I hit level ground my stride went pretty well. This was actually a 3 mile PR for me overall. What would you do differently?: really kicked it at the end and not stopped until I crossed the finish line. Post race
Warm down: Not as much as I should have. I streched out my ITband a bit, drank water and ate a few bananas. What limited your ability to perform faster: Sore shoulders from swim class and a poor T1. Last updated: 2006-05-20 12:00 AM

Arrived around 6:45. Aired up my bike tires, set up transition. Went for a spin. Streched out. Went for a run. Streched out. Headed to the water for a quick swim.
