Subject: IM - Wisconsin Registration
After some soul-searching and discussion with spouse, i think I would like to register and train for Ironman Wisconsin 2013.   I know in the past things go quick and you have greater chance of getting in if you volunteer.   Right now, i'm recovery from Achilles Tendon surgery and my foot is in cast and need crutches to get around, so volunteering is a slim option for me.  I'm going to most likely sit in front of the laptop Monday Sept 10 with my credit card and fingers crossed.  Registration is still available for IM-Mont Tremblant and IM-Louisville, so do you think IM-Wisc will sell out as fast as it has in the past?    Hopefully, I'll catch a break.

I have known people who registered online and I have not heard of someone not getting in that wanted in if in front of the computer at the time it goes online.  Good luck!

Or, you could see if there are any volunteer spots available Friday or Saturday for check-in and what not....something you could do whilst sitting on a chair.

I would think if you were on your computer right at 12p, the chances of you getting a slot would be pretty good. See you in 2013

Thank you everyone - i will log on and hope for the best on monday 09/10.  Joe, i've looked into trying to get a vol spot for check-in, but transportation is a problem for me, living 2 hours away and not being able to drive now.   injuries suck, but they are a great motivator.
