Did she run because she knew you guys wanted some pizza?  Did she know that you were going for some pizza when she ran?  Does she even know what pizza is?

My 11-yr-old is too damn old for age.  While she thinks it's "gross", she knows what pizza is and why mommy and daddy do it.  Conversations have gone like this before...

"Are you really into this movie?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I'm going upstairs.  Watch your movie and don't come up or bother mommy and me."
"You  two having some mommy-daddy time?"
"Yeah.  Something like that."
"Well, just be careful.  I already have one annoying little brother.  I don't need another."

I know this is only one data point, but you're obviously doing a fantastic job as a parent!!  Keep up the good work.
