Subject: Pearland running?
I just moved to the Pearland area and can't find a running group that meets in the evenings and on Sunday mornings. Does anyone know of one? I'm in west Pearland so one in Missouri City might work, too.

Have you tried the Pearland Area Runners Club (PARC)? They meet regularly, although I think they tend to run on Saturday mornings instead of Sunday.

I usually run on Sunday mornings in Silverlake, but I'm pretty slow (10:00-11:00 miles for my long runs).

I checked out the PARC website, but it looks like they only run Saturdays. My boyfriend asked if anyone runs Sundays and didn't get any responses. He also found out they do weekday runs at 4:30 AM. That's a little too early for me right now...I'm a student again, so I finally don't have to get up before dawn to get my training in. I'd like to find a group that runs in the evenings, but it's not looking good. I mostly just want to meet more people and socialize.

I live in Shadow Creek Ranch.  I Usually do my long runs or rides on Sunday mornings since kids soccer games are on Sats.  Sometimes I'll get a run or OWS saterday evenings.  Training for anything in particular?  Whats your avg. pace and distances?

I'm wrapping up training for a 70.3 this weekend.  Then I will just train to maintain until Dec. Dallas 1/2 marathon.
