Pre-race routine:

got a muffin and OJ, I was I think the first person there at the race, which I like because I can just take my time and just relax
Event warmup:

Didn't get to warm up much, was able to get into the water a little though there was a 30 minute time gap from warm up to race start.

just go faster

Seemed to have a hard bike, even though I wasn't any faster. I can't tell if I just wasted so much energy on the swim. I just seemed out of the breath for the entire ride.
What would you do differently?:

work on my diet between the races, I haven't been watching that to closely since IMLP

I was out of breath for most of it, caught up to a swimming buddy from the Y. Slowed down and ran most of the 5k with him.
What would you do differently?:

Shouldn't have slowed down to talk with buddies. I will have to just push through it and talk to them after the race

not really training for this race, gained some weight.
