Subject: Rehoboth Half-Marathon/Marathon in December

Anyone?

I'm 95% sure I'm registering for this. I've done 3 halfs this year, and I really believe I can get under a goal time with a 4th. I grew up going to Rehoboth every summer and enjoying the boardwalk. Starting and ending there sounds great, and I don't mind winter running. I wish I had thought of this before the registration went up to $90. 

Seriously considering making it my first full marathon in 2013. Doing the half in 2012 seems like a good way to decide.

I am 85% in, just need the final blessing from the girlfriend. Looks like a fun race and I have had some friends do it in the past. Nice finisher medal, on the beach and lots of post race beer! I will let you know for sure soon but most likely I am in.

Just booked our motel for the night. Was tempted to go super cheap with the $50 econolodge with the bad reviews, as we are definitely low budget travelers. But sonce it's just the wo of us and no kids, I thought I'd treat my dear wife and running partner a bit better. S we're at the AmericInn. There's a decent indoor pool and hot tub, then we got the room with jacuzzi and fireplace. I would like to run fast enough to hurry back to the hotel for a shower before checkout, then return to post race for the beer. Maybe I can get late check out.

Any inal word for you Matt? Anyone else on BT doing this race? The after is supposed to be great.

Quiet lot. Don't be afraid lurkers, this is not TriTalk. This is the Delaware forum. Not a lot of traffic. 

Anyway, this was a fun race, a good safe course, a great finish line, and an excellent excuse to go to Rehoboth for a night. 

I highly recommend it, and plan to bring friends next time if I can put it in my schedule. RR and blog update with pictures are online if anyone is interested.

Glad you had a good race and wish I could have done it. Maybe 2013? It does seem like its just me and you in the DE forum sometimes lol.
