What is on the must see or do list for Branson? We are taking a family trip there soon and we've never been. My kids are 6 & 4. We're going with my parents - my Dad does not get around real great. He has trouble breathing while walking around like say at the zoo or something. And also meeting my sister and her family with boys age 7  & 13.

My hubby says the Dixie Stampede because my son loves horses. I think Silver Dollar City looks neat but not sure my Dad can keep up with something like that all day.

We will be there 2 days.

Also any good places to get coupons or special deals?

My kids loved the Titanic exhibit. They got to feel how cold the water was and also they were assigned a passengers name and at the end, they got to see if they survived. They went through it while I did Branson 70.3 so I did not go, but they loved it.

We went to Branson when I was a kid and I still remember Silver Dollar City! I remember it being fun.

(sorry, that's about all I can give you)

Your kids will love the Dixie Stampede.  Silver Dollar City is also a great time for kids....but walking through that park could be hell for your dad....it's built on a big hillside, so it's all up and down walking, some of it very steep.  The Branson Landing is pretty cool....lots of shops, restaurants, pubs, etc.  It's flat.

If your dad likes to fish, Lake Taneycomo is a world class trout fishery, and Table Rock Lake is beautiful, especially in the Fall.  In fact, the scenery anywhere in the area is fantastic this time of year with all of the Fall colors.

There is plenty to do there.....your kids will have a ball.

I've been going to Branson for 30 some years. Growing up it was a cheap place to go for my parents.

Dixie Stampede is good.  Our kids loved it and they were 3 & 6 at the time.

Silver Dollar City is fun, but it is a lot of walking.  The fish hachery is good along with Ride the Ducks.

Don't forget to take in a few shows.  The Presley's & the Haygood's put on a great show.

As far as coupons, look at the show and attraction fliers at the hotels.  There are usually coupons in those.  There is a place called Branson 2 for 1, but I don't know how it works.

I visit the forum below to keep up & get some questions answered.  Hope you have a good trip!

I would suggest riding the Ducks - the kids will like it and easy to do for your dad.

the Titanic exhibit was also very interesting.

That's pretty much all I've got. I'm not into the "shows" they have there so I'm not all that big of Branson fan even though I've been there several times.
