Subject: Hot Spots on foot

I get a hot spot right at the cleat location on my left foot.  It will usually happen about 28-30 miles in to the ride.  Never the right foot.  I use SPD cleats, should I try adjusting the left one, if so which way.  Any other ways to prevent this?

That's a pretty common problem with SPD cleats unfortunately.  You could try adjusting them, basically any way that makes it feel better but the cleat should be roughly under the ball of your foot I think.  I had this problem with SPDs so I switched to Speedplays.  Other than that the only thing I can think of is thick socks.
