I just bought a vitamix blender. Do you have a favorite recipe youd like to share? I know there are tons of smoothie recipes out there... Anything else?

I just use mine for making peanut butter and making protein shakes. Protein powder, oat meal, carb powder, peanut butter, flax seed, ice and water

It purees soups beautifully!  Saute some onions in your favorite fat (I like pastured butter, coconut oil, olive oil or bacon grease), added chopped butternut squash, your favorite herbs (I like sage), salt, and enough chicken broth/stock to just barely cover the squash. Bring to a boil, then simmer until squash is very tender.  Carefully pour into your Vitamix and blend until smooth and creamy.  Add a splash of coconut milk for extra creaminess. Careful the steam doesn't get you coming out of the lid.  YUMMY!

Do you have the recipe book that comes with it?  I used it a lot for smoothies, butter, almond butter, soups, tomato sauce, etc.

I did. So many have dairy included- I don't do dairy. I did see the almond milk recipe. Sounds interesting. Will have to ck it out thx!

You can probably substitute a lot of dairy for other ingredients.  The enchilada sauce recipe in the book is really good.
