Not sure if people had seen this in the FAQ question on the Tremblant site:

My family and I are heading up on Thursday. Definitely getting pumped!

Does any have any recommendations on any good breakfast places in the village?

Its not really a sit down and eat a huge breakfast type place but we love going to the Au Grain de Cafe coffee shop at the top of the pedestrian village (to the left as you are going up). You can get nice breakfast sandwiches there. Not a ton of seating available either but highly recommend it.

One week till race day! I'm in that taper mode questioning my training and just thinking of the little things for race day.

Yup, only natural to have those thoughts Nate! I've seen your training and I know you've done the work. Now its time to have a very relaxed week. Looking forward to seeing you and the fam on Friday.

Have a great weekend everyone! All positive thoughts!!!

Looks like 76 for a high, not bad. 52 in the AM...a little chilly starting on the bike. Anyone debating clothing choices?? I so dislike being cold. I may ponder arm-warmers and toss them at some point.

Well after 15 hour drive through thunderstorms and flooded highways and numerous wrecks, I made it to MT. Rain almost the whole way, for those on the East coast, I took I-87/I-15 through Montreal. I hit Montreal at 4:30 PM, later than planed due to weather, but the traffic was not too bad. A few slowdowns but no real delays. Its cool and wet here, raining hard when I arrived. Wed is chill day with a little swim and a drive of the bike route. Everyone drive safe, looking forward to seeing everyone roll in.

As far as race day, standard Tri top/shorts with arm warmers to start, most likely ditch them on the bike as it warms up. Last year it warmed up on the bike but rained during the run and got chilly. forecast looks good so far, but anything can happen!

Does anyone know anything about the Public Transportation in MT? I know there is a bus route that appears to have a station near my condo and goes into MT. The race info said that it is free to ride on race day but I was curious if it will take me to town to volunteer due to road closures. Anyone know anything or remember seeing the buses last year?

I know there was a bus that went from the town of St Jovite to the MT Village, but no sure how often or reliable it was on race day. They also had shuttle busses to move people from the offsite parking to the village and they worked fairly well. Thanks for volunteering. Jim

I got up at 730 today, 55 degrees, overcast and very windy. Glad this is not race day, I may add full finger gloves to bike bag, my hands were cold just reading the paper outside.

Family just made it up to MT. It took about 7.5 hours, 1.5 hour longer then we had planned but not to bad overall. We hit Montreal around 3PM and hit bad traffic. Took us about 1 hour to get through. I think Montreal is going to be hit or miss for most people.

Before unpacking we got a quick tour from the owner of the condo of the village. It is very nice and I look forward biking and running through it Sunday.

What a great day for a race, it was beautiful. I should say except for that headwind on the second loop of the bike...that was not what I needed My day went great except I had the most hideous run...Arg

Congratulations to everyone.

echoing your comments.

great race overall, but yeah that bike taught me a lesson on the second loop ...and the run was ridiculous after the 30km mark for me.
