Comments: Just a local 15K fun run, to me this was more of a supported long run and something I suggested to Runningflyr as a way for him to get in a medium run. I went out at normal pace which was around 9:30 per mile and held that until almost mile 6 when my stomach dropped out. 2 pieces of toast with jelly and nothing else is not enough for a nine mile run. Yeah and I knew that I did this to myself... What would you do differently?: Manage my nutrition better and I probably could have shaved 2-3 minutes off. Opps, I never seem to learn the nutrition lesson. At least I wasn't as bad as after the Flying Pig Half. Post race
Warm down: Got looks from my FTP regarding my acknowledgement of my poor nutrition management, went and drank beer and ate pizza at my favorite watering hole. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of nutrition management Last updated: 2012-11-12 12:00 AM
