Woke up and ate cereal and packed the car.
Event warmup:

Terrible start! got kicked and elbowed real bad. had to lay on my back doing back stroke just to catch my breath. Finally caught my breath and swam normal.
What would you do differently?:

don't start in the middle of a run start. stay off to the side.

Very slow transition for me. It was cold so i put on arm warmers and calf compressions which did not go on fast in the cold and wet.
What would you do differently?:

go faster! or suffer through the cold!

Felt good passing a lot of people after the slow swim and transition. Feet froze!

Good transition. couldn't feel my feet though.

felt good even though I couldn't feel my frozen feet. passed two people not too far out of transition and then another at the turnaround. all the stairs was a good mix to a run... I liked it.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The swim and first transition! if I would have had just my average swim and transition I would have easily been competing for 1st... next time!
