Subject: Doing Raleigh 70.3 for my first tri in 15 years Before anyone starts in on "you shouldn't do that," let's start from the standpoint that I am a former collegiate swimmer and an avid cyclist (former racer ), and I have a good idea of the training necessary to do a race like this. I don't plan on showing up undertrained. That said, I do want to bang out a couple of Olympic distance races in the months prior to the Raleigh race, so I was curious if anyone had recommendations - I see the Beaver Dam Olympic in April, but that's my daughter's birthday weekend so I'd like to avoid that if I can. Any other suggestions? |
