Subject: RE: Have you done 140.6 as a Clyde or Athena?TriPatrick - 2013-03-03 8:22 PM I qualified for that silly race yesterday with a 3:08:xx and i was at 218 pounds before I left for the race. Not trying to brag, but for some reason I remembered this post during the last 10k of my race. I was trying to drum up motivation as I was lapping the half marathoners and it would have been easy to walk as no one would have cared. Now, I concentrate on swimming as I want to kona qualify in the next few years. Awesome! congratulations. I think the only way I will ever qualify for Boston is if I'm still running at 80 (I probably have it in me athletics wise, but don't want to dedicate the time to running that much a week - I like triathlon it suits my ADD). |
