Swim
  • 09m 30s
  • 547 yards
  • 01m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swim was tougher than I thought it would be but I did not have to hang on to a buoy and I wasn't the last one out.
What would you do differently?:

TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN more for the swim
Transition 1
  • 06m 1s
Comments:

Took a little time to drag myself up the stairs to go for the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Put a little more speed in getting to the transistion site
Bike
  • 39m 12s
  • 10 miles
  • 15.31 mile/hr
Comments:

Pretty good time considering I stopped twice to help fallen riders. Also the road surface was wet so I felt I had to hold back a little to ride safely
What would you do differently?:

Bring bandaids and small bandages in case I ever do down
Transition 2
  • 01m 25s
Comments:

Road with running shoes in cages so transition was faster
What would you do differently?:

Will probably upgrade to clip-less pedals and shoes
Run
  • 30m 27s
  • 3 miles
  • 10m 09s  min/mile
Comments:

It was a humid day, my shirt was soaked. Hydrated well on bike so I didn't need any water during the run.
What would you do differently?:

Switch to a tri-suit
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Need more training, shoould do better on next one

Event comments:

Nice Race. I'm glad someone else had a tough time with the swim, like I did. Definetly not like a pool...

I had a blast doing this race as my first tri? Are you going to do anymore of their races later in the summer?
