If anyone is interested, the Fat Frogs Tri team is having a mixer/informational meeting at the Fat Frogs in Chesapeake on January 19th at 6:30.  If you are interested in hearing about the team and possibly joining, come on out!

I'd love to join, but I don't think the budget can handle it right now.

It is actually a great price.   $45 a month.  That gets you a swim session as a team on Sundays for an hour and a half.  Run session on Tuesday nights, bike session on Thursday nights, core work on Friday nights and some longer rides on the weekend.

Actually, that price is ridiculous. For $40/year I get a weekend brick workout, a weekend track workout (both coached) and monthly trips for open water swim. Plus we have monthly educational sessions with top notch speakers and a yearly xmas social with food.

I agree... $45/month seems pretty steep.  Tri-clubs are great... wish we had one in the Williamsburg area.  If anyone is interested, let me know... maybe we could get one off the ground!

There is a group on Facebook that we are thinking of making into a team, it is made of a people on both sides of the HRBT.  People do post group swims/rides/runs, talk shop and all that fun stuff.

Here is the link if you are intersted: https://www.facebook.com/groups/eastcoasttriteam/

I'll have to check it out.  I know of a few other folks in the Williamsburg area that would be interested in joining a team/club....
