Subject: Help me decide (and no, it's not a bike)
Have been doing a late April sprint as my first race of the season for the last couple of years.  However, really tempted to line up a great Oly event as my first.  Since the Oly is a week after the sprint, for $ reasons don't want to do both.  What say you fellow BTers?

Should go for the OLY - take it up a notch. But in the end it is up to you - do you want to do same old? Or challenge yourself?

Is it your first Oly?

Assuming you'll be in Oly shape by the race, I say go for the new race.  Variety is the spice of life.

Sell off a child (you can make another later) and do them both!

 

Seriously, just do whichever seems more fun.  They say that variety is the spice of life, so perhaps do the Oly.  Worst case, you end up having preferred to do the Sprint and you can go back to it next year.

If you're worried about money, Oly probably offers more miles per dollar

I think you guys are telling me is the right decision, do the Oly.   Did it a couple of years ago, really cool race, we'll see if I'm in shape enough at that point in the season, that I am less sure of.
