Is the track measured from the inside lane, the outside lane, or the lane divider?

Great question Lisa as I have always wondered that myself.  I'm sure Davey will have that answer for us shortly...

sorry, been out of town this past week.

the answer is:  depends on who measured it!!!  i believe the chart used by the pettit center is measured (and therefore the indicators around the track) using the midstripe.  Icebreaker uses inside lane as the was a Boston Certified Course.
