SICK OF THE COLD!

brrr!  that is cold!  It hasn't been that bad down in SW ontario, but I still have just been running on the treadmill.  I am such a cold weather wimp.

Do you have much snow up that way?  we are being pounded this morning down here.

I think the trick is to embrace winter.  Typically we hibernate and curse the cold weather but then I live in Toronto so it's pretty much a cold slushy or salty concrete slab in the winter.  Today it's more fun with all the snow! 

This year we rented a chalet and my family has taken up skiing... me snowshoeing.  I have to say our winter is flying and it's nice to be out and active in this weather.  Plus it can be so pretty.  For me the trick has been having the right clothes.  Boots than can withstand -40!!!

Ditto.  Indoor bike trainer and treadmill until it gets a bit warmer.

Despite the 30 cm of snow we are expecting throughout the day, my wife told me that she still plans to run 18 kms tomorrow morning with her half-marathon clinic.

.... she's way tougher than me.

We have lots of snow!! The thing about Timmins, is that is snows and snows and snows, until its too cold to snow, and then all the snow just sits there like a JERK! being cold and snowy. Then it warms up a little and starts to snow again!
