Unfortunately, since getting married my wife has stopped observing this amazing holiday.

Married 12 years, 5 kids. This holiday is just as important as Valentine's Day!  Though we are getting away this weekend so there will be lots of celebrating going on!

This was our first date. Kid Rock at the Houston Rodeo two years ago. Two years later, and we've now been married for 2 months. So technically December is now our "new" anniversary which means I don't have to "celebrate" Steak-and-whatever day, right?!

An amazing holiday for sure. Probably should have been a month before Valentine's Day instead of a month after. It seems a lot of people have a short memory. What happened to quid pro quo?

Depends on if you want to make it to 12 years like Keri or not.

Keri...I'm sure I should be getting the reference, but nothings coming to mind.

KeriKadi's post towards the top of this page.  And apparently the greatest wife ever.

Gotcha. Point taken and fair enough. I'll be sure that he enjoys "steak" day just as much as I've enjoyed Valentines Day. Everybody wins in the end
