Anyone doing Subara Niagara Race? Any BTer's there?

I was wondering if I could manage the Sprint Du?

I only just moved my distance up to Sprint with Guelph II 2005 and then again Guelph I 2006.

I heard that the bike course a a killer hill and I'm not sure I can manage it.

Has anyone else done the Sprint before?

I'm going! It should be a blast. Im only doing the tri-a-try bit it still should be good.

Hate to disappoint you, but in the T.A.T. you won't be flying down any hills.

I've done the T.A.T. at Grimsby twice now and it is pancake flat, just going along the side of the QEW on the service road.

Having said that, I've still yet to beat my Grimsby average bike speed anywhere else!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll love it. Watch out for those big rocks along the shore.

Well I just got a nice OCR1 to use for the summer so this race ill be seeing how it performs. I need to do more training before I start handling large hills on the sprint courses. Thanks for the head up though!

I'm in for the sprint. I have a borrowed QR Kilo for this event - really looking forward to bike portion prior to getting thru the long run. I had a flat during my sprint last weekend in Thunder Bay, so things can only get faster on this one.
