Simpsonbo- just curious... What is your competitive swimming background? You swim some ridiculous times.

Swam from 8 to 23. I swam mainly at the University of Calgary (club and varsity). My focus was Fly (200 was #1 event) and mid distance free. I did spend many a day in the distance lane as well. Our club was and still is one of the best in North America (I was one of the "role player types"), we had a few olympic medalists and world record holders. We also had a steady stream of people from all over to train with us (most notable was Grant Hackett, most notorius was Michelle Smith... fyi we all thought what the when she won 3 gold and then all said that makes sesnse when she was busted for doping) My best place at nationals was 3rd in 200 fly. PR of 2:01 SCM and 2:04 LCM. 200 Free was 1:52/1:55. 1500 PR was 16:10 SCM and it was my #5 event back then. Now 800/1500 are my best events followed by 200 Fly, 400 Free & IM.
