Pre-race routine:

Ate breakfast a couple of hours prior. Special K with berries, 2 eggs over easy, 2 pc toast, and orange juice.
Event warmup:

Carried a water bottle, 16oz. Dressed just a little warm but no biggie. Arrived in parking lot 15 minutes before race. Got ready and fast walked/jogged to start.

Ran with my wife. Ready didn't think she could hold the < 12 min:mile pace but she did great!!

Saving up for the marathon tomorrow.
What would you do differently?:

Post race
Warm down:

Not much. There were so many people we had to stand in line for while to get post run snacks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Wife, lol

Event comments:

I love The Cowtown. They had a health fair going on with a kids run after the adults finished. We got out of there, haha! Good Expo on Friday and I'm sure it will be hoppin' tomorrow as well.
