Specialized 2009 Transition Expert - $1750.00 - Large (56)

Hey all,

I am selling my 2009 Specialized Transition Expert...size Large.  Would prefer to sell local but willing to ship provided buyer pays for shipping.  Bike is in very good condition.  I am not exactly sure of milage but it is pretty low.  It has been raced in 4 or 5 sprints, a couple Oly's, 2 HIM and I also used it in the 2010 IMWC in Kona.  It really has been sitting in my basement on the stand for 14-16 months - taken off a few times but not ridden.  The bike is a rocket and really rides well.  It has never been down and has a few very minor knicks (see photos).  Everything is pretty much stock, except for the seat which is a Cobb Saddle, the pedals - Look Keo Classics, added Sigma bike computer and it has a Garmin cadence sensor on it also.  The bike needs a rear cassette.  I called a couple specialized shops and this runs $95-$105 to replace the stock cassette (see below - I believe it was an Ultegra).  It somehow got lost in transit from Kona.

I am also including my Ravx TX1 Indoor trainer and the Cyclops Wheel stabalizer. Together they ran about $150 total new.  I will also include the Specialized seat that came with it.

The bike retailed for $3000 and has minimal usage..I am not a heavy cyclist so it doesn't have a ton of miles. I purchased the bike in February 2009 and used until October 2010 and that was it.  Price is pretty firm.  Looking at comparable sales it is priced a little lower than most and has the trainer thrown in.  It does need a cassette and probably tires but other than that it's good to go.

I will post this on a few message boards, ST and probably Craigslist.  Not desperate to sell by any means but triathlon season is ramping up and this could be a great bike for someone for a little over half what it retailed for.  Let me know if there are any questions - [email protected] - you can also text me or call at 770.715.1598.
