Comments: Felt pretty good. Was able to keep a pretty good pace throughout the entire race. The first mile was all uphill which was pretty tough but from there on i just got into a rhythm. Knew I had another gear but didn't get into it. Felt good for only running for 6 weeks prior and still being 20-25 lbs. too heavy. Still got a long way to go but it was a good measure of where I'm at. Just need to keep bumpin up the miles without pushin too hard and gettin injured. Hopefully body repairs ok from the race. Loved kickin it in hard.....passed three people in final 50 yards even though one was a 14 yr. old kid and the other was a lady! NEED TO GET BETTER so I can get back to beating everyone I used to be able to destroy and even those I wasn't able to. Keep it up! Good race....next race.....Scandia 10k!!!...in about a month and a half. Post race
Warm down: Was in a hurry...only ran about a mile and stretched minimally. Should have mos def done more...thats prolly why I am hurting so bad. What limited your ability to perform faster: Speed workouts....maybe? Last updated: 2006-06-21 12:00 AM

Woke up two hours prior. Had a banana and a quarter of a bagel with cream cheese.
Ran a mile, stretched, ran a little more, stretched, strides.
