Comments: The beginning of the race was cold and windy, but I knew I should warm up fairly quickly. The turn around at mile 6.5 at least put most of the wind at my back. I kept fairly consist pacing until mile 10/11, when I felt like it was starting to come apart. Fortunately I caught a second wind and was able to finish strong during the last couple of miles. What would you do differently?: I'd been training for my first marathon, but didn't really take the long run lessons to heart for this race. I think in the future I will at least attempt to drink and take some nutrition for a half marathon. I was less than a minute away from my PR, so maybe I will be able to get there again! Post race

I stayed with friends about a half mile from the starting line. We walked over, shivering the whole way...
