Last night's ride put me at 903 miles on my bike. By end of day on 7/14 I will bust 1000.

Anyone else have short term goals they want to put in writing?

Congrats. My bike was at 983 so I decided to do a real nice longer ride to celebrate the millenium .
I just past the 1000 miles on my bike !

Since I'm kinda new here, I've got to ask if that's for the month or is that a year-to-date total?

Sadly, that's a year's worth of miles. Six months if you subtract Oct-Mar, when I relapsed into my old triathlon: Pizza, beer & televised sports.

My goal is to log 60 running miles this month. I am a sucky runner and don't practice enough and need to put more miles in!

So, in the next week, I need to do 15 miles. I ran 2 at lunch, so that's 13 to go by next Friday.

This is my first time posting in challenges! I'm getting back into training over the last few months (no tris this year due to scheduling-I'm a resident and 80 hours a week at work and a husband and kids at home has a tendency to cut into training time).

My goal for August was to do 900 minutes of exercise (about 30/day)-any kind, not just s/b/r. I had 2 weeks of vacation, with some long hikes and a round of golf, so I'm actually pretty close, which is good, since I'm now doing nights in the hospital and have far less exercise time. I have 128 minutes left to go, in 5 days, so it's about 25 minutes per day. Not easy, but probably doable.

I doubt I'll get that many minutes again until residency is over, but I'm hoping it will help make fitness into a habit!
