Water is water That being said, given the temperatures of the past 30 days, I expect all May races to be cooler than normal. I'd plan on using a wetsuit. If you are concerned about the temperature being really cold, they make neoprene hats that cover your head and ears. Those are really popular in cold water swims. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we all can start swimming in open water by the end of April. I'll be testing the water temperature myself in about 2 weeks. But I can tell you that my creek, last weekend, was really far from being swim ready temperature. |
