Subject: Switching out 3T S bends to Ski bends

I have a P2 with an 3t Aura setup that I want to switch out my 3t S bend bars with bar end shifters for 3T Ski bend extentions and was wondering how difficult it would be.

I'm assuming it would just be a matter of loosening the bars, disconnecting and removing the shifters, rerouting the cables and reattaching the bar ends?

Anyone have some advice, words of caution.. etc...

pretty standard and easy wrenching. Replace the cables (and possibly housing if it's older) while you're in there.

 

Make sure you get the length/fit dialed in before you re-install all the cable stuff... don't forget to compensate for the extra length of the shifters.
