Pre-race routine:

PB shake at home, PB and j sandwich about an hour before race. Set up transition and waited around

Comments:

Water was really cold. I thought I would have more trouble keeping my face in the water but it was OK. I sighted well and stayed on course the best I have ever done. There were 5-7 people from the previous wave hanging on the last turn buoy when I got there of course they started swimming again by the time I was rounding it so I was stuck in traffic for a bit but managed to pass most of them.
What would you do differently?:

For once I can honestly say NOTHING! Finally got over my white lake swim mental break down

Slow transition. Was really uncoordinated because of the cold, lost balance trying to get wet suit off. Still haven't mastered getting my socks on. Put on ls bike jacket because I thought I would be cold on the bike

Didnt need jacket but never got hot. Maybe try going sock less

Changed Harmon over to run while on bike. Went better for transition
I put t shirt on over tri shirt because I have to pull it down all the time. Took a few extra seconds but made for more comfortable run
