Ok Ive done my homework and I know that I can finish the florida challenge, my first race in 20 years, respectably.
How do I spend the last 10 days when i'm accostomed to 25 running, 150 biking, and 10k swimming?
You want to decrease volume and maintain intensity. So instead of maybe an 8 mile run at 10 min pace, you would do a 5 mile run at 10 min pace. The idea is to come into the race as healthy and rested as possible, without letting your body get tight from not training.
