Pre-race routine:

Bagel with PB, debated on what to wear since it was going to be cold and I wasnt sure if the sun would be out or not. decided on a LS compression top with race team singlet and shorts. Should've gone with gloves.
Event warmup:

Didnt warm up at all. This is still haunting me.

Comments:

Started out as planned at 6:45 pace. After 2 miles my legs were very tight and I knew I was in trouble. At the 8 mile mark the 1:30 pacers chewed me up and spit me out and I was falling way off my pace and was in trouble. At this point all I wanted to do was stay ahead of the 1:35 group. I managed to limp in and accomplish that.
What would you do differently?:

Probably should have warmed up a bit since it was so cold out. This is the first of 3 in a series of Half marathons, so I am out for redemption this weekend.
Post race
Warm down:

Met up with Pete, Reece, and Ryan in the finisher area, changed into warm clothes, grabbed some chocolate milk, and food

Event comments:

I love this race and this series. I will do it every year I am capable.
