Unfortunately it is the weekend before KS 70.3, so I take it nice and slow as the last big workout before the tri. If you want to make it an A race, take Jon's advice and run hills. A lot of hills. Typically it's humid on race day as well, so hydration will be key. If you are not acclimated to running in heat and humidity, it may be a shock to the system. I keep the heart rate in very low zone 2 and just let the time fall where it falls. |
