Comments: I'm not really sure what happened here. It was raining a lot, so a good portion of my energy was focused on not stepping in giant puddles, staying warm, etc. I realized how fast I was going when I passed the 10k mark and realized that I was going my PR pace, which I just set 2 weeks ago. Not good. I figured I'd keep going and see how long I could hold that up before I had to walk, which I assumed was inevitable at this point. Somehow I just kept running though. I got to mile 8 and realized that I could actually pull off my goal of 1:45, which I had told myself was a bit optimistic. By mile 10 I was still running, and thought that I could actually be going faster than my goal. When I saw the time at the mile 12 marker, I realized there was a possibility of a 1:40 finish, and I started running harder. I don't know where the energy came from, but it felt amazing! I actually ended up negative splitting the half by about a minute, and PR'ed by more than 7 minutes! What?!? What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race

Woke up a bit late. Downed some water, grabbed a banana and gatorade and started walking to the start (about 1.5 miles from my house).
